How Can I Become a Student Ambassador?

In order to become a Student Ambassador, you will need to submit an application.  The application will appear on this page.  Applications are reviewed by the current Student Ambassadors and all applicants will be notified of their decisions via email on November 19th. Requirements for applying are listed below. Students who are chosen to become new Student Ambassadors will be enrolled in an 8-week spring course (BA 2010) that will prepare them to become Student Ambassadors.

  • Be pursuing Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor’s in Economics, or Minor in the College of Business.
  • Successful completion of BA 2010.
  • Have at least two semesters left after completing BA 2010.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (Freshman: have high school GPA of 3.25 and ACT score of 23 or higher).
Successful Student Ambassador applicants will demonstrate the following:
  • Conscientiousness
  • Proactivity
  • Integrity
  • Leadership
  • Hospitable
  • Professionalism
  • Accepted students will need to complete BA 2010 in the spring semester.
  • BA 2010 is a one credit hour class that prepares these students to be great Student Ambassadors.
  • Students will learn valuable skills such as how to present and network well.
