Want to learn to play golf or improve your game? Business networking is often conducted on a golf course and it’s to your advantage to be able to play golf as you launch your business career. Here’s a chance to take FREE lessons and learn the game or learn how to lower your handicap if you already know how to play.

The sessions are held at the BGSU Forrest Creason Golf Course and consist of four two-hour lessons, along with a 9-hole practice round and a 9-hole scramble golf outing and cookout.

Due to the facilities, the Dean’s Golf Workshop is limited to 24 students from the College of Business Administration. Students will need to have at least a 2.75 GPA to sign up. Preference will be given to new golfers and by class seniority.

Lessons are taught by Kurt Thomas, director of golf. Lesson dates and topics for fall 2015 include the following:

August 23 - Putting
August 30 - Swing I
September 6 - Swing II
September 13 - Swing III
September 20 - 9-hole Practice Round
September 27 - Golf Outing

Participating students will receive complimentary golf items and College of Business Administration apparel.
