Fred Coleman returns to his native Toledo area as BGSU’s newest assistant professor in the Department of Accounting and MIS. He comes to us from Louisiana Tech University where he taught courses in taxation, accounting information systems, systems analysis and design, and principles of financial and managerial accounting. His primary research interest is business fraud which includes tax compliance.
Fred is a certified public accountant and has been honored with faculty excellence awards, including Instructor of the Year, and was selected for a fellowship from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2011-12.
