MYTHS & FACTS

MYTH:  Hiring international students will cost too much.

FACT:  CPT and OPT authorizations are paid for by the student, NOT the employer.

FACT:  H1-B sponsorship averages less than $5,000 and is less expensive than head-hunters or relocation.

FACT:  Employers pay NO costs for students working on F-1 or J-1 visas.

MYTH:  Retaining international candidates is difficult. We’ll train them, then they will leave.

FACT:  H1-B commits an international candidate to an employer increasing retention and return on investment.
