Jessica C. Harris imageJessica C. Harris, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor, Higher Education & Organizational Change at the University of California, Los Angeles. Through her research, Jessica critiques interlocking systems of oppression that are embedded in U.S. higher education and lead to educational and social inequities. Her multidisciplinary research agenda focuses on multiraciality on the college campus, critical approaches to sexual violence, and the history of inclusion and exclusion in higher education. Jessica teaches graduate level courses such as critical race theory in education, history of higher education, and student development theory. Her research, teaching, and service are guided by commitments to radical social justice and educational equity.
