Degree Program: BA, Major Communication with specialization in Relational Communication, Minors Business and Psychology

Hometown: Pemberville, Ohio

Emily Helm is a Senior. Emily works as a Student Supervisor at the BSU's Student Recreation Center, She has served as Communications Coordinator for AWC, Vice President for Club Softball, and the Student Ambassador for the Department of Communication. Emily knows Communication is  the right major for her because she loves communicating with people and learning how to communicate in various contexts and venues. Her future goals include working in a corporate communications position or in recruiting for a large corporation.

Hometown:  Cincinnati, OH

Alyssa is a Sophomore. SIne her first year as a student at BGSU, Alyssa is involved in the Alpha Phi sorority, Live Wire, and of course AWC. She chose Communication as her field of study  because she thinks it is going to provide her with very useful skills that employers are looking for when hiring and she believes it will allow her that higher advantage when pursuing her career. She would love to one day be working as a Talent Agent and Scout for the music industry.

Hometown: Jackson Center, OH

Courtney is currently a marketing assistant (job, not an internship). She is a Junior. She wants to graduate with 4 years of marketing experience and apply for a marketing manager's position. She serves as AWC's Travel & Proram Coordinator. She is also a Student Ambassador for the Department of Communciation. She received Rising Star Award in 2015 and is on the Dean's list.

Degree Program: BA, Major Communication, Minor Business

Danielle is a Senior. She enjoys working with and helping others. Communication allows her to gain skills and knowledge that she can translate into the workplace. It allows for creativity, as well, which she values in a field of study. One day she hopes to work for a company or non-profit doing marketing or public relations. Human resources is also an area of interest for Danielle.

Kailee is a Junior. Kailee served as the President for AWC for academid year 2015/16.  She is a member of Ps Beta Phi. Ske is a Contributing Editor of the Odyssey, and is a Sudent Ambassador​ for the Department of Communication. Kailee is passionate about theatre, therefore her future Career Goals inclde doing Public Relations for Broadway.​

Precious Stones is an on-campus organization at (BGSU) dedicated to the uplifting and unifying of all women on BGSU’s campus. La Rhonda's future career goals include working in the Human Resource field. She is also planing to pursue MBA​ to further her education.

Lorelei Young' 15,  Alumna,  llyoung@bgsu.edu

Hometown: Catawba Island, Ohio.

Lorelei Young is an alumna who graduated in December of 2015 with her Bachelors degree in Communication with a minor in Management. Lorelei served as the Vice President of The Association for Women in Communications, and has previously held the positions of Communications Coordinator and Membership Chair.  She has been in AWC since Spring of 2012. Lorelei iwas also a Student Ambassador for The Department of Communication. Most recently, she organized the department's fifth annual homecoming event. When not studying or working, she is boating or spending time with friends and family. After her gradaution, Lorelei has been offered a position of an Account Manager for the Indianapolis office of Lab Support. Lorelei has organized COMM Afinity Alumna group, please contact her to share your accomplishments and achhievements and to network with other COMM alumni.

Megan graduated with BA in Communication with a Minor in Marketing in Spring 2016. MEgan served as Vice President for BGSU-AWC Chapter. While a student, she interned  at Sherwin Williams in Cleveland and she loved the experience. In addition to sering as an officer in AWC, she was a mmember in the Public Relations Student Society of America. She chose communication because she has a strong passion for popular culture and the entertainment media. She thinks communication dengree can take her to many different places. She hopes to obtain a job after graduating in the marketing field and her career goals include a job where she can incorporate her love for media and popular culture.
