Students wishing to sign up for The Global Village Community should begin by accessing “My Room & Meals” through the MYBGSU Web Portal. Once there, students have the opportunity to provide a $200 payment for their campus residence hall room, after which they may click on the “Sign-Up/Preferences/View Housing and/or Meals” button, and choose The Global Village as their preferred learning community. This protocol took effect February 6, 2007.
Payment must be rendered before students may list a preferred learning community. Students may change which learning community they wish to live in up to six times before receiving a room assignment.
