Min Yang received her M.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Alberta (Canada). Her research interests include trauma studies, eco-criticism, feminist studies, film studies, and Chinese literature in the 20th and 21st centuries. Her papers exploring these research interests have been published in academic journals or presented at academic conferences. Min Yang also specializes in Chinese language pedagogy.
Previously Min Yang has taught numerous courses, including world literature, Chinese literature and culture, and all levels of Chinese language, at the University of Colorado, the University of Alberta, and Sarah Lawrence College.
