Dr. Neil Baird to Assume University Writing Program Directorship

Dr. Neil Baird, Associate Professor in the Department of English, will assume the role of Director of the University Writing Program beginning on June 3. University Writing Program (UWP) is Bowling Green State University's first-year writing program. UWP courses work in combination to provide students sustained, guided practice writing for a variety of academic audiences and purposes.

Dr. Baird will work closely with Dr. Kitty Burroughs, Kelly Jennings, and the UWP faculty and staff over the coming months. He brings extensive administrative experience to the role, as well as enthusiasm for research in and teaching for transfer.
