Fall 2019 Community Writing Project: 6-Word Memoirs

In fall 2019, the Department of English Community Writing Hub hosted a project designed by Rhetoric & Writing PhD candidate Lena Ziegler. Through a partnership with Grounds for Thought and the Wood County Public Library, community members were invited to write and submit 6-word memoirs in the style of the famous SMITH Magazine project. Submissions range from the heartfelt to the hilarious, and the collection can be read in its entirety online by clicking on the cover photo below or downloading the accessible PDF.
