Position Summary
The English Department of Bowling Green State University seeks a poet to serve as the College of Arts & Sciences Distinguished Visiting Writer.

Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be in residence spring 2019; teach one workshop in our BFA program and one workshop in our MFA program; give a public reading and a lecture; and advise theses.

Minimum Qualifications
1)  MA, MFA or Ph.D. by time of employment.
2)  At least one book of poetry.
3)  Documented critical recognition consistent with a writer of national reputation.
4)  Evidence of strong undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience advising creative writing theses at graduate level

January, 2019
