The goal of the multilingual Latino/a/x Issues Conference is to support student research; to increase the visibility of Latinx cultures, politics, and interventions in BGSU and our region; and to provide a venue for the recognition of the accomplishments of our Latinx communities. The Latino/a/x Issues Conference includes the eSTRELLA which means star in Spanish, and in the conference name stands for STudent REsearch on Latino/a/e/x and Latin American Studies.

The 2021 Latino/a/x Conference is co-sponsored by BGSU’s Ethnic Cultural Arts Program (ECAP).
This event was originally scheduled to occur in person at BGSU in 2020. Although we were able to provide some virtual content at that time, we had to postpone this event due to COVID-19. We hope you will plan to join us as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary (again)!
