Adjunct Positions - Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science at Bowling Green State University has a recurring need for part-time instructors (adjuncts). A master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field (e.g., MIS) is required.
One-semester adjunct positions have start dates of August 19, 2019 and January 23, 2020. Adjunct faculty typically teach freshman computer science courses; specific course assignment will depend on the instructor’s credentials. Internal applicants are eligible to apply.
Applications must contain the following items: a letter of application, resume or vita, transcripts (official or unofficial) and two letters of reference bearing original signatures and dated within the last year. The letters of reference should specifically address the applicant’s teaching strengths. A statement of teaching philosophy and student evaluations (if available) are welcome but not required. An official transcript, indicating the highest degree attained, will be required at the time of employment. Finalist must consent to a routine background check.

Full-time position provides support to Computer Science (CS) department. Relieves supervisor of routine clerical tasks within established guidelines. Prepares correspondence, answers telephones, maintains files and performs a variety of clerical tasks to support faculty and students. $13.67 per hr. Deadline to apply: April 26, 2019
