The Sherri Long Memorial Scholarship provides assistance to a University Libraries student employee by financing a portion of their education at Bowling Green State University. Sherri Long started her career as classified staff at BGSU on May 30, 2006, in the Access Service Department where she worked as a Senior Library Associate. Sherri was recognized by BGSU as a recipient of two Spirit of BG Awards from the Classified Staff Council. She loved volunteering for BGSU preview days, signing up for multiple “snack cart” times to interact with students, and sharing her cooking excellence with colleagues. Sherri made a difference every day that she worked at BGSU; she loved to talk and engage with family, colleagues, students and faculty.
