College Alumni Award Nomination form
The BGSU College Alumni Awards recognize individuals who personify the University’s tradition as an institution of excellence. Outstanding College Alumni are chosen annually to represent each of the university’s seven colleges, highlighting the diverse disciplines of a comprehensive university. Through outstanding achievements and civic, cultural, and charitable contributions, these individuals bring honor to Bowling Green State University, their respective colleges, the Alumni Association, and thousands of graduates the Association represents.
Recipient Selection Criteria
- Recipients may be a BGSU graduate
- Must have provided exceptional leadership or innovation in their profession or community
The Selection Process & Induction
Individuals, staff, faculty, student alumni chapters, and constituent associations may make nominations. Nominations must be submitted on nomination forms supplied by the BGSU Alumni Association.
Additional materials such as a biographical sketch, curriculum vitae, newspaper clippings or other supporting documentation may be included in the application. Letters of support are highly encouraged.
Nomination forms may be submitted at any time; however they must be completed in their entirety and be received in the BGSU Alumni Association office by Monday, November 13, 2017.
The decision of the selection committee will be guided by the materials submitted by the nominator within the stated guidelines.
The Alumni Awards Program will be held April 7, 2018, on the BGSU campus. The recipients must agree to be present for the presentation and the person(s) responsible for making the nomination will be invited to attend the presentation.
