Supply Chain Management
The College of Business offers one of the nation’s top undergraduate supply chain management programs, according to U.S. News and World Report. Supply chain management is a growing field with plentiful internships and full-time job prospects. Supply chain management is primarily concerned with the planning, acquisition, conversion, flow, and distribution of goods from raw materials to finished goods. The program prepares students to handle broad managerial responsibilities that impact the success of the company and the competitiveness of the entire supply chain. Graduates from the program work initially as buyers, supply chain analysts, and inventory supervisors and then move up to managing positions in buying, purchasing, and plant facilities.
Today’s students of the supply chain program are in demand for internships and highly recruited by companies from across the U.S. Often there are more job opportunities than graduates to fill the strong demand.
The BGSU supply chain management program has some of the world’s foremost experts and scholars on supply chain and logistics.
