Welcome to UMSO

The mission of the United Methodist Student Organization is to share the light and love of Christ with the BGSU community through discipleship, fellowship and a community-based faith.

UMSO has five areas of concentration as we minister to individuals and the campus community:

  • Small groups/Bible studies
  • ARISE (our twice a month large group gatherings, which include a meal, worship, and college sensitive program)
  • Social activities
  • Mission and service
  • Local church connection

UMSO is supported by four United Methodist churches and the West Ohio conference of the United Methodist Church.
