HRCI or the Human Resource Certificate Institute offers certification for HR professionals.

One of the exams offered is the PHR, which upon passing enables one to be certified as a professional in Human Resources.

After two years of working in the field upon completion and passing of the PHR exam, one can include the subscript 'PHR' after their name. For examle: Mr. Smith PHR.

If you are a member of our SHRM chapter at BGSU, you can access study materials for free as well as apply to be reimbursed for the exam fee.
