Our History
With each of the approximately 7,200 residents as members, the Resident Student Association is one of the largest and most respected student orgranizations at BGSU, but that was not always the case...
1970 – 1971 the formation of the Resident Housing Association; after this first year, the RHA was discontinued
1977 a student-governed Residence Life committee was formed, known as the Resident Life Advisory
1978 the name of the 1977 RLA was changed to the Residence Life Association
1979 the name of the 1978 RLA was permanently changed to the Resident Student Association
