Our Membership
General Members
Mortar Board's members come from a variety of different educational backgrounds, with the common element being a strong commitment to their academics. Members must be in the top 35% of their senior class or have a GPA higher than 3.5. Our membership represents many different majors and minors, which makes for a complete and diverse learning experience for all members. Mortar Board's members have also been the recipients of numerous scholarships and academic awards.
The goals and activities pursued by Mortar Board are a reflection of this diverse makeup and makes for a much more fulfilling experience for all involved.
Furthermore, this wide range of areas of study makes for a great networking opportunity, whether it is developed through committee work or simply during social time.

Executives
Mortar Board also presents its members with the opportunity to take on leadership roles as part of the executive cabinet. This cabinet coordinates and plans activities for the chapter and takes a lead role in determining the direction of the organization.
