Winter Wheat Special Events Information
The Second Annual "State of the Art" Symposium: The Story in All Its Forms and Variations
The festival features a special "State of the Art" symposium on Thursday afternoon, highlighting unique aspects of a specific genre. This year's topic: "The Story in All Its Forms and Variations." We will be discussing "What Happens Next...or Doesn't: Plot in Contemporary Fiction, " "The New Realism: What Passes as Traditional Storytelling," and the keynote panel: "State of the Art: The Story in all Its Forms and Variations." We are pleased to welcome many varied voices and experiences to this new tradition of Winter Wheat. We hope you'll join us.
Winter Wheat features a bookfair with many well-known literary journals and publishers. It's a good way for writers to talk with editors, become more familiar with literary journals and pick up some awesome books and journals; and it's a good opportunity for editors and writers to increase their reader base. If you are a magazine or publisher wanting to register for this year's bookfair, click here
