MASIMBA RACE AGAINST AIDS

Just like BGSU Race Against AIDS, The Youth Vision International organizes the annual Masimba Race Against AIDS. The race takes place at Masimba. It starts and ends at Masimba Community Resource Center. The race, whose objective is to create awareness about HIV/AIDS among community, is a great attraction.  Many people participate in the race and it has grown to be a flagship event in the community.

Specific objectives of Masimba Race Against AIDS  

¼   Creates Awareness about HIV/AIDS

¼   To involve community members in the fight against the epidemic

¼   Provide the youth a platform to participate in community development

¼   To provide the youth an opportunity to learn leadership skills

¼   To provide community members a forum to meet and reflect on the development agenda of their community

Funding

BGSU-Kenya 5K Benefit Run funds the race. We hope that others organizations and individuals will join BGSU-Kenya 5K Benefit Run to fund the coming races. To our supporters  Asante Sana
