General Club Information
Who can be a member?
The BGFC is open to all BGSU students and community members. We do ask that all community members interested in joining the club be at least 18 or older.
Club Dues
Dues for the fencing club are $40.00 per semester.
What kinds of resources are available to me when I pay dues?
What kinds of resources are available to me when I pay dues?
1) Basic Practice Equipment (Mask, Jacket, Glove, Weapon, Ect...)
2) Basic instruction and strurctured practices
3) Assistance in purchasing equipment
4) Information on local tournaments and assistance in competing in local tournaments
5) Students of the university are eligible to participate in BGFC Team.

The club typically allows perspective members to fencing for a period of three weeks before asking them to pay dues.

What do I need in order to practice?
Participants should wear sweatpants, t-shirt, and comfortable running shoes. Flip flops, boots, or dress shoes are not permitted...and not safe. We can take care of the rest!
