Community Service

Pamper Your Heart is a fundraising community service event. We partner with Make-A-Wish Foundation. By providing relaxation and stress relieving activities to the BGSU community, we raise money that is donated to a Make-A-Wish Kid. Fall 2005 was the first time we had this program and we raised $350. It was a huge success and it has become our Fall annual community service event.

Pamper Your Heart

Read-A-Thon is a program that is designed to inspire children to read. Money donated toward the program will be used to buy books for a library in an underserved community. Donations will be accepted in several ways. To find out more you can contact us.

Read-A-Thon will be our annual Spring event starting 2007. As we develop this program, we will add information here. So check back soon and more information will be provided.

Delta Chi Phi is involved in other community service projects throughout the year. A few of the events we have participated in the past include:

· Good Samaritan Gifts to African Countries

· Get Well Soon cards to the Toledo Children’s Hospital

· Alternative Fall/Spring Break with Habitat for Humanity

· Kenya 5K Walk
