Bible Study:
A great way to hear God speak to you is by meditating on His Word! Each week, Creed members have the opportunity to read and discuss a chapter or two of the Bible. During the 2005-2006 school year, we read through the Gospel of Luke, and we will likely read through another Gospel this year.

Bible Study is held at St. Thomas More. Dinner will be served at 4:45 p.m. in the Antioch Dining Room. All are welcome for dinner, but RSVP is needed so we know how much food to prepare. Bible Study is from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Library (next to the Antioch Dining Room).

Holy Hours of Adoration
Feeling stressed? Confused? Troubled? Bring it all to God and allow Him to fill you with his peace. "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

We have the wonderful opportunity to be still before our God as he comes to us body, blood, soul, and divinity in the Blessed Sacrament each during Adoration each Friday a at St. Aloysius Clare Hall Adoration Chapel. While some Creed members gather for a Holy Hour at 8 p.m., the chapel is open from 8 a.m. Fridays to 8 a.m. Saturdays.

Adoration, it is a time to sit before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament to talk to him heart-to-heart, reflect on Scripture or spiritual readings, and most of all, to just be present with him.

The chapel is located on S. Enterprise Street, at the end of the parish's school building. Look for the stained glass windows! For the code to the door or further directions to the chapel, please email creed@bgsu.edu.

"The Eucharist, in the Mass and outside of the Mass, is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, and is therefore deserving of the worship that is given to the living God, and to him alone." ~Pope John Paul II

"When the Sisters are exhausted, up to their eyes in work; when all seems to go awry, they spend an hour in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. This practice has never failed to bear fruit: they experience peace and strength," ~Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

The Rosary - It's not just for your grandmother
Some Creed members enjoy a peaceful time of prayer together, meditating on the mysteries of the rosary, as their schedules permit. The rosary isn't just repeating prayers over and over, it's an opportunity to contemplate the life of Christ mentally, while saying the prayers vocally. It's a scripturally-based prayer that helps you to learn about Christ from the perspective of His mother.

"It would be impossible to name all the many Saints who discovered in the Rosary a genuine path to growth in holiness." ~ Pope John Paul II

"The Rosary is both meditation and supplication. Insistent prayer to the Mother of God is based on confidence that her maternal intercession can obtain all things from the heart of her Son." ~ Pope John Paul II

What's God's will for YOUR life?
Each month, a group of students gather to discern what vocation God is calling them to; whether married life, religious life, priesthood, or the single life. Last year, Sr. Marilyn Marie, SND helped facilitate this group and talked to the students about discernment.

Check back soon for more details about times and locations for this year's meetings.
