What is Love? (1Cor 13:4-8)

the Holy Trinity is the ultimate and perfect expression of love, complete and eternal self-giving

The Father gives Himself to the Son, the Son completely gives Himself back to the Father, and from this self-giving love comes the Holy Spirit

sacrifice

we are all parts of the Body of Christ, so we have the tools for perfect love, but it is very hard to do so and if we were loving perfectly we would be sinless (like Jesus)

conscious act "Love does not brood over injury". You must let go of what makes you feel good to help others feel good.

ultimately giving for others will be in your greatest interest in the end

look at the people God has put into your life (everyone) and that is putting Gods words into flesh. Relate these relationships to 1Cor.
