President - Brian Hannen
Brian Hannen is in his fourth year as a Music education student at BGSU. His main focus is in voice and he sings bass/baritone. He has been involved on campus in the Falcon Marching Band, Athletic Band, Men's Chorus, A cappella Choir, and Collegiate Chorale. He studies voice with Lance Ashmore. He is originally from Parma, Ohio.
Vice President - Albert Talcott
Albert Talcott is the Vice President of BGSU's Collegiate Chorale. He is a junior, pursuing a bachelors in Musical Arts with an emphasis in Voice and studies under professor Doug Wayland. Albert Is also a part of the BGSU Men's Chorus. Aside from choral activities, he also enjoys traveling and cooking.
Secretary - Courtney Froelich
Courtney Froehlich is a junior at Bowling Green State University studying Music Education with a Choral Specialization. This is her second year in Collegiate Chorale and her first year as an officer. In addition to Chorale, Courtney has also participated in other BGSU choirs and performances, including A Capella Choir, Women's Chorus, and last year's Gilbert & Sullivan show. Courtney is proud to be this year's Secretary for Collegiate Chorale and is very excited to be part of such a wonderful and positive group of singers!
Treasurer - Morgan Savage
Morgan Savage is a junior from Norwalk, Ohio majoring in business with a specialization in accounting and a minor in Chinese language. She transferred to the College of Business Administration at Bowling Green for the fall, 2012 semester, and is enjoying her first semester in the Collegiate Chorale. In addition to Chorale, Morgan is a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional fraternity, and Chi Omega, a panhellenic sorority. As treasurer, Morgan is looking forward to all of the wonderful memories that will be made this year in the Chorale.
Publicity Director - Ben Shepler
Ben Shepler is a junior at BGSU from Toledo, OH, studying Choral Music Education and is a second year member of Collegiate Chorale. In addition to performing in the Men's Chorus, the Toledo Choral Society, and leading worship at St. Paul's in Maumee, Ben enjoys songwriting and recording as well as performing at open mics and other venues. Ben is excited for the great things to come this year in Collegiate Chorale.
Fundraising Coordinator - Zachary Shock
Zachary A. Shock is a sophomore in the Music Education program. He is from Defiance, Ohio and is involved in many organizations across campus. He is a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a member of BGSU Men's Chorus, a member of Elite small ensemble, and of course, a chorister in Collegiate Chorale! He loves to hang out with friends. Zach is looking forward to a wonderful year serving as your Fundraising officer and to all the memories that Collegiate Chorale will bring!
Historian - Angelica Dunsavage
Angelica Dunsavage is a first year graduate student in Choral Conducting, and the Teaching Assistant for Class Voice, a music education course for non-vocal majors. Along with Collegiate Chorale, Angelica is active in University Choral Society, Early Music Ensemble, and is the Choir Director and Music Intern for St. Thomas More University Parish. She received her bachelors of science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she held positions as an officer section leader, choral assistant, and member of various church and university ensembles. She has also performed roles in several operetta productions such as Lehar's The Merry Widow and an adaptation Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial by Jury. Angelica has participated in several masterclasses as a vocalist and as a conductor, where she has studied with directors such as Vance George and James Jordan. She is happy to be a part of the BGSU community, and serve on the Chorale officer core.
