Annual HESA Banquet invites have been sent out/placed in your HESA
mailbox. The cost remains $15 for HESA students and $20 for guests. We
request checks only, made out to BGSDA. You are
hereby cordially invited to a seminar or round-table discussion of
current issues related to international exchanges of students, faculty,
and staff on Friday, April 24, 10:00-11:30 am, in room 345 of the
Education Building. Giving a bit of direction to our conversation
(though not giving formal presentations by any means) will be our
guest, Dr. Annette Kratz, Head of Centre for International Exchange and
Development at Keele University in the UK; HIED’s very own Dr. Patricia
Kubow, Director of the Center for International Comparative Education;
and HESA’s fearless leader, Dr. Michael Coomes.
Dr. C. Carney Strange will be conducting a Spiritual Dimensions of
Student Development course during the first six weeks of the summer
session (May 18 – June 26, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5:30-8:30pm). Those of you going on the UK trip and
returning to Bowling Green on May 26 can still take the course, but will need to
contact Carney to work ahead of the three classes you would miss.
