| Traditionally, each
year the BGSU Men's Chorus participates in
two tours. The Fall Tour usually occurs during
the second week of November. The group travels
throughout the Ohio, Michigan and Indiana
area for two or three days, singing at schools and
churches along the way.
Members
of the Men's Chorus have given up their Spring
Break to embark on the Spring Tour. In the
past the Chorus has traveled to Florida,
New York, Colorado, and Toronto. The Men's
Chorus stops at numerous places along the
way to provide young and old with the enjoyment
of music.
The
purpose of these tours is ultimately to
share a love of music with everyone. In
addition, the tours are a strong recruiting
force for the Chorus and Bowling Green State
University. These times also give the members
a chance to bond and truly become "brothers
in song."
Most recently, the Men's Chorus toured down to South Carolina, passing through Kentucky before stopping at Myrtle Beach, returning north and passing through Akron, OH on it's way home.
