The BGSU Men's Chorus Officers are elected by the full Chorus each spring for a term that begins in May. The officers handle the organization side of the chorus including tours, finances, brotherhood building activities, publicity, alumni relations, and fundraising. The officers this year hope to bring a new level of brotherhood to the chorus and promote the BGSU Men's Chorus to the campus and surrounding communities.

 Officer Corps

- President -

Tyler E. Burg is a Junior Audio Recording Technology Major and this is his third year in Men's Chorus. He is excited for Chorus this year and hopes that this year will be even better than the last two. Tyler is also a member and Vice-President of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Iota Omicron chapter. When Tyler isn't singing with America's Finest Singing Machine, he is playing soccer, slappin' the Bass guitar and singing in a band, Disc Golfing, Civil War Reenacting and hanging out with friends. Fun Facts about Tyler: he owns and wears a kilt and during Hot-Tub-a-thon was seen running across campus in a speedo.

- Vice President -

Nick Dian is Junior Bachelor of Musical Arts Major with a focus in percussion performance and a minor in General Business. This is his second year in chorus, and is VERY anxious for the year ahead. When Nick isn't singing or working for the Men's Chorus, he is playing percussion, studying, or hanging out with friends. He is a collegiate member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity and probably has more shoes than your girlfriend... or boyfriend. Fun Fact: Nick has never sang in a choral ensemble before joining Men's Chorus last year.


- Secretary -

Jeffrey Devereaux is a sophomore Pre-Nursing student as well a Resident Adviser at Kreischer Ashley Batchelder, a residence hall on Bowling Green State University's campus. Jeff is also a member of Delta Lambda Phi Social Fraternity. Jeff has served in varies leadership positions in high school as well as secretary positions in varies college organizations. Jeff enjoys singing in the rain, however he does not like long walks on the beach.

 

- Treasurer -

Jack Williard is a sophomore Human Development and Family Studies Major with a minor in Sexuality Studies who is entering his second year in Men's Chorus. He works at the Sweet Shoppe on campus and is an Eagle Scout. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing video games. Fun Fact: Jack's favorite vegetable is ketchup.

 

- Fundraiser -

Mike is an Eagle scout and a second degree black belt. He has been in Men's Chours for 2 years & has been involved in barbershop for five years. He is a 7-12 grade Earth & Life Science major and hopes to be the fifth voice of Mickey Mouse.



- Publicity -

Demetrius L. Ingram is a Junior of the University pursuing a degree in Choral Music Education.An alumni of Sandusky High School in Sandusky Ohio. Demetrius is a part of the Sandusky High School Alumni Association and still manages to stay in contact with his high school A Cappela Choir. Now a student of the musical arts at BGSU, He is an active member of the A Cappella Choir, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, and the Public Relations Coordinator for the Men's Chorus. Demetrius plans to graduate with a Bachelors of Music Education the fall of 2015.

 

- Technology Coordinator -

Robert Gerlach is a pretty cool guy, and he isn't afraid of anything! Robert is a Psychology major who is in University band, the Falcon Marching Band, Men's Chorus, A Cappella Choir, and Taiko drumming. Robert is what most people call a romantic, with his head up in the sky all of the time. He spends his free time practicing music for his various groups and playing video games. Robert assumes he'll be graduating in a couple of years but who honestly knows.
