Besides the weekly meetings and monthly screenings, ANO also holds or participates in special events, such as those listed below.

January 4-6, 2008: Ohayocon, southern Ohio's very own anime convention; an unofficial trip could be organized if there are enough interested members

March 29, 2008: Animarathon, a mini-convention held right at BGSU!
