A
Brief Introduction
The African American Graduate Students Association (AAGSA) was created
to promote cultural diversity at Bowling Green State University.
It is one of several multicultural student organizations that falls
under the umbrella of Bowling Green State University's Project
Search Program. Since its first meeting in 1975,
AAGSA has become an asset to the Bowling Green State University community.
Active members of
the organization experience a sense of community, offer
personal and educational support to one another, and develop
leadership skills for success in the work world.
Throughout the school year, AAGSA holds monthly events and
meetings (educational and social), sponsors a writing workshop,
a wine and cheese event and the professor lecture series. AAGSA
also does co-sponsorships with other campus organizations to
promote diversity on BGSU's campus.
This site represents only a small portion
of what AAGSA does for the Bowling Green State University Community.
If you have
any other questions or comments about this site or AAGSA in
general, please contact a member of our executive council.
