The strategic planning template outlines each of the elements of the final plan, including a brief definition.

> The Working Framework
The working framework includes the revised statements of Vision, Mission, Values and Goals that were enhanced through the input of the Charting Our Future sessions, and is the basis for the strategy development phase.

> Comparator Examples
The strategic plans of three peer institutions were reviewed to offer examples of the connection between goals and strategies and the level of specificity generally contained at the strategy level.

> Landscape Summary
The Charting Our Future sessions allowed participants an opportunity to identify and then vote on things that made them glad, sad and mad in six topic areas. The results from individual sessions are available on the blog, however a consolidated version by topic area is included here as well.

After you have reviewed the Toolkit, go the Strategic Planning blog, select the Goal that your strategy impacts and type your strategy in the “Leave a Reply” box. When you click the “Submit Comment” box, your suggestion will be received by the blog administrator and posted to the blog.
