Made up of faculty, staff, administrators and students, the team comprised a microcosm of the University. Uniting their diverse
vision, skills and experience, they provided a comprehensive perspective that helped develop the strategic plan with the Leadership
Team and engaged the University community in the process.
The co-chairs were Dr. William Mathis, chair, Music Performance Studies, and Mel Hudson-Nowak, director of Internal Auditing
and Advisory Services. They worked closely with Interim President Cartwright to move the process forward, and relied on the
guidance of internal-change consultant Dr. Steven Cady, Management.
