The Charting Our Future process has been created to bring together existing planning efforts and allow members of our community
to participate in creating a unified plan. The Strategic Planning Group and university leadership worked together to create a starting point for university planning efforts. The resulting plan will align all areas of the University and
allow us to respond to changing conditions and opportunities.
What’s next?
Nine Days of Data. Background information will be provided in a series of emails Aug. 25-Sept. 5. All emails are archived on this site for
your review.
Charting Our Future Week. Collaborative discussions will be held Sept. 8-12; each session will offer participants an opportunity to discuss factors
influencing the University and to provide input into our vision, mission, values and overarching goals. You preview the process
by clicking on “Sneak Peak.” Additional online opportunities will be available for input and participation
Moving Forward. Interim President Cartwright will lead the process of reviewing the input gathered during Charting Our Future Week. Results
of the review will be shared with the campus community.
What can I do?
Watch your email. Useful information to help you and your team get ready for Charting Our Future Week, as well as planning process updates,
will be emailed to you.
Plan to attend and participate. Sessions will be offered at the Bowling Green and BGSU Firelands campuses. Choose one session to attend.
Spread the word. Managers or supervisors encourage participation and create opportunities for your team to attend. Faculty, staff and students
invite peers and colleagues to join you
