Students working with me will have a unique opportunity to perform cutting edge research involving lasers, organic chemistry and/or biology. My laboratories offer a wide range of interdisciplinary experiments, and student of almost any interest can find a fun project to do. We will make small molecules, proteins and materials for future solar cells, and we will study these molecules using laser spectroscopy. Since my group is relatively small, the student that wishes to join will receive lots of attention and help during his/her work.
