Participants make friends and have fun while learning.
Students also learn how to work as teams to solve problems.
Students learn programs and ways to use new computers to help solve problems and set up data for research.
Peer Mentors help to guide students from a student perspective.
Bridge 2011 Peer Mentor, Alex Hill, helped to set up the lab equipment and answer questions when the instructors were busy. Alex later participated in SETGO Summer Research 2012.
Joanne Roehrs, Ecoogy Instructor shown here, introduced herself and the Ecology course concepts that will be studied over the following weeks at the Orientation Program on the first day.
