BGSU Scholarship Application Forms

  • Scholarship Appeal Form
    For scholarship recipients who wish to appeal the cancellation of their scholarship, to use their scholarship for a summer semester or to use their scholarship for less than full time enrollment.
    For students wishing to appeal to use a scholarship for the summer 2014 semester, please use the 2014-2015 appeal form.       
    The 2014-2015 appeal form will be available beginning April 1, 2014. 
  • The Delbert Latta Scholarship
    Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average; incoming freshmen or any undergraduate who has at least two semesters of study before graduation; exhibit involvement in campus and/or community organization; reside in one of the following Ohio Counties: Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Henry, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams or Wood. Huron & Lucas County residents may be eligible provided they reside in the following limited areas: Huron County: Limited to Lyme, Norwich, Richmond, Sherman Townships, and the City of Bellevue; Lucas County: Limited to Harding, Jerusalem, Monclova, Oregon, Providence, Springfield and Swanton Townships

  • Edwin L. Moseley Scholarship Application
    Rising junior (60 credit hours completed by the end of Spring semester 2014) or senior (90 credit hours completed by the end of Spring 2014); minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; demonstrate active participation in University organizations or contributions to BGSU community.
    Deadline is September 19, 2014 for the 2014-2015 academic year

  • Foundation Scholarship Application
    For scholarships listed in the searchable Scholarship Guide that require the foundation application
    The application deadline for the 2014-2015 academic year has passed. The Foundation Scholarship Application for the 2015-2016 academic year will become available on November 1, 2014.
  • Hollis A. Moore Memorial Scholarship Application
    Rising junior (60 credit hours completed by the end of Spring semester 2014) or senior (90 credit hours completed by the end of Spring 2014); minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; demonstrate active participation in University organizations.
    Deadline has passed for the 2014-2015 academic year
  • Jackson-Tolliver Scholarship Application
    Preference given to students who are active participants in the Black Student Union at BGSU; minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; must have completed at least 2 semesters at BGSU; preference given to students who can demonstrate financial need; demonstrate active participation in University organizations.
    Deadline is September 25, 2014 for the 2014-2015 academic year
  • Kerm and Mary Lu Stroh Scholarship Application
    Rising freshman or continuing student from one of the following Ohio counties: Auglaize, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, or Shelby; demonstrate financial need; minimum of 2.75 or above GPA.

  • President's Leadership Academy

  • Shawn R. Potter Cancer Scholarship
    Undergraduate students; minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; preference to students who are currently battling or have battled cancer; secondary preference to students who have a family member that is battling or has battled cancer.
    Deadline is September 19, 2014 for the 2014-2015 academic year
  • Sidney Frohman Scholarship Application
    Rising senior (90 credit hours completed by the end of Spring semester 2014); minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25; demonstrate active participation in University organizations.

  • Thompson Working Class Families Scholarship
    The Thompson Scholarship for Working Class Families is designed to assists students from working families who may struggle with the cost of higher education. This scholarship was established by Ellen and Robert Thompson to assist students who might otherwise not be able to attend and finish college solely because of economic reasons. Students receiving this scholarship are awarded a scholarship based upon financial need.
