3 Year Undergraduate Programs
How? Get an early start on your BGSU degree by completing requirements while you are still in high school or prior to enrolling at BGSU. Before enrolling as a new freshman at BGSU, earn credit hours that count toward one of the many BGSU majors students can complete in three years.
What steps should I take if I am interested in this opportunity?
Contact a BGSU Advisor to discuss the best way for you to obtain credit that will apply to your intended major. An advisor can provide program outlines showing how a 3-year degree can be accomplished at BGSU (see the A-Z links below for a litsing of over 90 BGSU majors/programs). An advisor can help you identify the best ways for you to accomplish the degree requirements based on your interests and circumstances. You can earn credit hours through the following programs: PSEO (Post Secondary Enrollment Options), AP (Advanced Placement), Dual Enrollment Courses, IB (International Baccalaureate: subject exams similar to AP), CLEP (College Level Examination Program), review of military training and coursework, transfer coursework from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, or credit by examination.

To keep in mind. Students can also accelerate time to degree completion by taking courses in the summer. Summer enrollment may make it easier to accomplish multiple majors, complete a minor, change majors, or participate in study abroad, undergraduate research, or internships, practicums, and coops. A BGSU advisor can help you sort through the options that are best for you.
