Informally, we provide social fellowship and fun for our members, primarily through various interest groups. New members are welcome at any time. The entire group will meet several times throughout the year so plan to join the whole group for those big parties. Check out the interest groups - something for everyone - and get involved!

University Women Bus Trip
Thanks to the hard work of Jo Tutolo, the second annual UW day trip to Cleveland in April was a great success. Plans for another trip in April, 2008 are in the works. Don't miss the fun!
Village Players Performance
In May, 2007, University Women reserved the Village Players theater for their production of the play "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". All profits from ticket sales were used to support our Scholarship Fund. We are planning to repeat this fun and successful fundraiser in May, 2008. Stay tuned for more details.
Car Boot Sale
On July 14, 2007 during the Downtown Classic Car Show, several University Women opened their car boots (trunks) and sold treasures. Although we may have sold mainly to each other, we did manage to raise $140 for the Scholarship Fund. Thanks to Barbara O'Brien for organizing this event. We hope to make it an annual occurrence.
University Women has established a scholarship for a "non-traditional" (i.e., outside the 18-22 age range) female student at BGSU. Applicants need to be currently enrolled at BGSU (have established an academic record) and demonstrate financial need. Any major course of study is acceptable. Applications for the 2007 scholarship are due by April 12, 2007. The winner will be notified by the end of the academic school year. A formal announcement will follow at the Fall Brunch in September.
Click here to download a scholarship application. Completed forms can be mailed to Mary Lynn Pozniak, Office of Academic Enhancement, 101 University Hall, Bowling Green, OH 43403. Questions about this scholarship can be directed to Mary Lynn Pozniak at marylyn@bgsu.edu
We are pleased to announce our scholarship recipient for the 2007-2008 year: Judy Blackburn. In her personal and career goal statement Judy said:
