The William Nestor Presidential Award
This award is presented annually to an Ohio college or university president who, while serving as president, has actively enhanced the quality of student life on campus by supporting student affairs staff and programs during his or her presidency. The winner must have a record of direct involvement in enhancing the quality of student life on campus, demonstrable attempts to involve students and student life staff in governing the institution, and verifiable contributions to the profession which have an impact beyond the individual campus.

Distinguished Service Award

This award is presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to creating a campus environment that promotes student learning, growth, and development. The winner must have demonstrated a contribution to his or her campus through the development and mentoring of new professionals and students, and must have developed and/or implemented programs focused on student needs and development that have enhanced the campus vision and mission.

The Outstanding Contribution to Literature or Research Award

This award is presented annually to an individual who demonstrates professional commitment to student affairs and higher education administration. The literature and/or research will be judged on how applicable it is to regional and state issues, and how applicable it is to the daily work of student affairs practitioners.

OASPA Gerald L. Saddlemire Award
This award is presented on an annual basis to an individual who has significant experience in the field of higher education and student affairs, has demonstrated consistent involvement at the state, regional, and/or national level, has contributed to the profession through the development and mentoring of new professionals, and who has exemplified a commitment to the students on his or her campus.
