ETHN 4800: Maya Thought & Culture

A three-credit, three-week summer experience in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. There are no prerequisites and no Spanish language skills required to enroll.

Span 395:The Impact of Globalization in Mexico

A 3-credit service-learning course offered during Spring semester. This course is designed for students who want to explore Mexico’s unique cultural and economic concerns in today’s globalizing world and who are willing to go all the way to Xalapa, Veracruz to explore those issues. This course is taught in English and is open to undergraduate students of all majors and backgrounds.
