Congratulations to Lisa Meyer who works in the Provost's Office.  Lisa received the Spirit of BG Award for June.

From all classified employees at BGSU, we'd like to thank Lisa for having the true spirit of BG!  

BGSU operates on daily acts which build and strengthen our community on and off campus. These acts, along with other deeds that are above and beyond the call of duty, may be acknowledged and the responsible individual recognized. The Classified Staff Council presents the "Spirit of BG" award on a monthly basis.
Each of us knows when someone goes the extra mile to help. Now you have the opportunity to thank that individual. You, or any member of the University community (faculty, staff and students), may nominate a Classified staff member. Announcements of the monthly winner will be posted on the Classified Staff listproc, website, and in the Monitor. The award is in monetary form with a certificate and the congratulations of colleagues and friends.

In order to nominate a Classified Staff employee for the "Spirit of BG" award, please complete the attached nomination form, and include, in five lines or less, why the person you are nominating is deserving of this fine award. All nominations should be submitted to Sue Frost, 369B Business Administration, no later than 5:00 PM on the last day of the month. The award committee will review the nominations and choose a winner by the 15th of the following month.

Keep copies of this form in your area so that they are readily available to faculty, staff and students.

The act of nominating is an affirmation! Even if a person does not win, they will receive a copy of the nomination. You are invited and encouraged to participate in recognizing the efforts that you think demonstrate the Spirit of BG!
