Congratulations to Norma Lybarger!

Below are a few comments from the nomination:

"Norma began the “Cookies for Birthdays” program….volunteering her own time, funds and energy…for the students.   This program has been an incredible morale booster for our staff.  Norma goes above and beyond by making the students feel at home, while away from home."  In addition, “Norma displays cooperation through her willingness to work wherever she is needed when we are short staffed.  ….she takes pride in a job well done by positively encouraging other associates to strive for greatness."

From all classified employees at BGSU, we'd like to thank Norma for having the true spirit of BG! 

Each of us knows when someone goes the extra mile to help. Now you have the opportunity to thank that individual. You, or any member of the University community (faculty, staff and students), may nominate a permanent Classified staff member. Announcements of the monthly winner will be posted on the Classified Staff listproc and website.  The monetary award is given in their next available paycheck.  At the announcement, they are presented with a certificate, a copy of the nomination, the congratulations of colleagues and friends, and pictures are taken.

In order to nominate a permanent Classified Staff employee for the "Spirit of BG" award, please complete the  nomination form and include, in ten lines or less, why the person you are nominating is deserving of this fine award. All nominations should be submitted to Terry Carver, 130 Perry Field House, no later than 5:00 PM on the last business day of the month. The award committee will review the nominations and choose a winner by the 15th of the following month.
