Meredith Porter mjanep@bgsu.edu
Meredith Porter works for the Center for Family and Demographic Research as a programmer. Her responsibilities include assisting
faculty affiliates and students with programming issues, planning and teaching workshops, and producing documents to assist
the Center’s affiliates in their ongoing research efforts. Meredith is the host of the Center’s SPSS, SAS, and STATA Help
Hours. She also works as the Project Coordinator for the Toledo Adolescent Relationship Study (TARS). Her research interests
include teenage parenthood and adolescent relationships and well-being. Meredith earned her Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Sociology
from Bowling Green State University, with a concentration in Family Studies.
