2005 Female-Male College Enrollment Ratios by State
- Maine had the highest female-to-male college enrollment ratio of any state with 1.7.
- Massachusetts’ female-male college enrollment ratio was 1.3, which was equivalent to Michigan’s and Pennsylvania’s.
- Ohio’s female-male college enrollment ratio was slightly higher with 1.4.
- The state with the lowest female-male college enrollment, and the only one with more male college enrollment than females,
was Utah with .9.
