We are pleased to announce that the Office of the Chief Information Officer at Bowling Green State University is hosting the 2007 Ohio Higher Education Computing Council (OHECC) conference in Bowling Green, Ohio in the spring.  Please mark your calendar for April 18-20, 2007 for an event that promises to be educational, resourceful, and entertaining.

OHECC is an annual conference of Ohio information technology professionals from more than thirty of the premier institutions of higher education in and around Ohio.  Past conference attendance has averaged over 200 and included more than 50 CIOs, directors,  managers, and IT staff.  With the support of our vendors, Bowling Green State University is expecting that this year’s conference will be one of the most memorable and productive OHECC conferences in its thirty-five year history. 

The conference is still evolving; however, we believe there are opportunities for all sponsors.  Included in the April sessions will be topics centered around Security, Support, ERP, Client Services, Podcasting, Applications Development and Classrooms of the Future, just to name a few .  The April Roundtables will include Networking, Client Services, Application Programming, Web and Lab Support, Software Licensing Issues, Technology in Education, Security, and Facilities Management. 

The interest we’ve seen already from companies such as yours to help support the conference has been truly exceptional.  We are currently seeking sponsorships for each of the seven conference meals, Wednesday and Thursday night’s entertainment and the keynote speaker.  There are also opportunities for your company to participate in and support the conference including:

• Sponsoring keynote speaker, dinners, luncheons, receptions, breaks, and evening entertainment
• Setting up a booth or table in the vendor display area
• Placing an advertisement in the conference agenda booklet
• Providing the conference portfolio (with company logo)
