Financial Management:  Transitioning from College to the Rest of Your Life

In the past, women were not encouraged to participate in their own or their family’s financial management.  Of course, the attitude that “taking care of the money” was a male responsibility infantalized women, rendering them unprepared and vulnerable.  Luckily for today’s young adult women, such thinking has changed dramatically.  Nonetheless, there are unique needs that women need to recognize to be successful in personal financial management.  Junior, senior, and graduate students particularly are encouraged to participate in this discussion about preparing for the post-college financial road ahead.

Presenter:  Patricia M. Donnelly, Student Money Management Services

Friday, October 23rd, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
