1. FRC Research Incentive Grant Program: DUE January 31, 2008
Faculty Research Committee Research Incentive Grants (FRC-RIGs) are designed to reward and encourage the continuing efforts of faculty members who are attempting to obtain significant external grant support for their scholarly research activities. The FRC-RIG opportunity is open to all BGSU tenured and tenure-track faculty members.
A primary purpose of the program is to provide initial seed funds for new researchers who are establishing their individual research agendas. Additionally, the RIG offers funding opportunities to faculty researchers with strong, established research records who are expanding their current programs in substantially new directions.
FRC-RIGs may be requested for an amount up to $10,000 to support ongoing research projects that already have resulted in the submission of external grant proposals.
