Important Dates for Financial Aid

January	Searchable Scholarships Guide available on-line at: http://webapps.bgsu.edu/scholarships/run
January 1	First day the FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA may be filed on-line at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
January 15	Deadline for submitting admissions credentials (including official ACT or SAT test results) for entering freshman who wish to be considered for University Freshman Academic Scholarships.
February 28	Recommended deadline for filing the FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA to receive maximum consideration for all need-based financial aid programs.
March 31	Recommended deadline for filing the FAFSA/Renewal FAFSA to ensure financial aid is processed prior to fall semester payment due date.
April	SFA begins Financial Aid Award Notifications to fully admitted entering freshman, continuing, transfer and graduate students with a complete FAFSA.

May	Direct Loan Promissory Notes and Entrance Interviews for first-time Federal Direct Stafford Loan borrowers available on-line at http://my.bgsu.edu/
May 1	Deadline for submitting Firelands Scholarship Application to Financial Aid, Firelands Campus
May 15	First day personal short term loans, against summer aid, are available for qualified applicants.
June	SFA begins processing Federal Direct Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) for those parents who have submitted a Federal Direct PLUS Loan Pre-Application.
July 26	Payment due date for fall semester tuition, fees, and University housing
