FEDERAL GRANT PROGRAMS

The Federal Pell Grant is the largest of all federal grant programs and is need-based as determined by your EFC. Another federal aid program is the Federal Supplemental Educations Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), but it has limited funds, so you are encouraged to file the FAFSA as soon as possible. The Teach Grant is for students who intend to teach in a school that serves low-income families and the grant must be accomplished by a signed agreement to sever for a minimum of four years after you graduate from college within an eight-year time frame.
